1. KIM CHIU SAYS XIAN LIM IS DEEPLY AFFECTED BY BEA BINENE ISSUE
Quite expectedly, people criticized the actor when he poked fun at a Kim Chiu lookalike and dragging Bea Binene’s name. He’s already apologized for the incident, but Kim says that he’s still deeply affected. He reportedly doesn’t eat, doesn’t talk, and even doesn’t want to get a haircut. We wonder what he’d do (or won’t do) if he got involved in a sex scandal or something like that.

Jake definitely didn’t like how Xian had to use Bea’s name when he poked fun at the Kim Chiu Kalokalike, emphasizing that girls should be respected. “Dapat alam mo obligasyon mo sa babae?” he told Pep.ph. However, he admits that he won’t say anything to Xian if ever they cross paths. Bea has handled the situation pretty well, even thanking Xian for comparing her to Kim.

According to elysplanet.com, there is a proposal for the next Miss World pageant to be held in the Philippines after our bet Megan Young won the title last year in Indonesia. “Philippines hosting the pageant this year would show the world coming together to rebuild the country after Yolanda,” she said during a courtesy visit to Vice President Jejomar Binay at the Coconuts Palace. Mr. VP, on the other hand, said that the proposal is “very convincing.” We, on the other hand, are very excited.

4. DID PHIL YOUNGHUSBAND GET DENISSE OCA PREGNANT?

The footballer has already denied getting the daughter of actress Melissa Mendez pregnant with the tweet: “Dear everyone, to put an end to doubts & rumors, I’m not the father of the baby of Denisse nor was it the reason Angel & I broke up. Angel & I ended on good terms. Can I ask we stop bothering Denisse, Angel & myself about this issue. Lets respect all parties and let everyone be happy & concentrate on their lives with their families & careers.” However, there is a screengrab of a tweet from Phil, saying “It’s true I got @d_oca pregnant!” This tweet was eventually deleted, however. But, yeah, there is a big possibility that it’s just fake, too.

5. VIN ABRENICA BAGS LEAD ROLES IN 2 TV5 SHOWS

It’s not just Aljur Abrenica who’s enjoying great projects (he’s the lead in the upcoming Kambal Sirena series), his little brother Vin is also getting some. Two, to be specific: he’ll be one of the pursuers of Jasmine Curtis-Smith in the stalker-themed show Jasmine, and the love interest of Alwyn Uytingco in Beki Boxer.
