Good thing she had bodyguards (hired by her hubby) so she was saved. People then asked her to stay on the floor because somebody might have wanted to shoot her next. Why the hell did someone want to kill the Kapuso actress? Well, most probably, it’s because of political reasons, since she is running for barangay captain. The juicy part? Angelica is up against a cousin for the post. The guy with the knife was caught, but he refused to divulge who asked him to kill Angelica.

Maegan Aguilar, one of Freddie’s six children, has just come to his defense online, posting explanations and answering comments of haters. Emphasizing that Freddie’s been a good father to all of them, the singer also said that her father’s relationship with the 16-year-old girl is “no problem at all” to her and her siblings. “[We] are all entitled to our own reactions and opinions. Angelica Panganiban was in Bohol last Tuesday taping for the show Banana Split, so when the 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit and she saw people outside the bus she was in screaming and running, she was so scared she called boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz and already said goodbye thinking she would die. “Nung nagkakatakbuhan na, tumawag ako kay Lloydie tapos parang nagpapaalam na ako. Sabi ko ‘Mamamatay na kami, mamamatay na ako. Lumilindol dito, mamamatay na kami.’ Akala mo talaga katapusan mo na. Nagpapasalamat lang ako na sa pinagdaanan namin, kumpleto kaming nakauwi.”
