1. SHAMCEY SUPSUP LOSES WEDDING RING
Oh no, the 2011 Miss Universe 3rd runner-up lost her wedding ring in Nueva Ecija last Saturday, according to a news story by Ricky Lo in Philstar.com. The ring, which costs around PHP150,000, got lost while Shamcey was shaking hands with people and posing for photos. The interesting thing is that Shamcey was wearing her ring though her wedding to businessman/model Lloyd Lee hasn’t happened yet; it’s scheduled this December. She’s hoping she can still find her wedding ring but explains how she’d be crying right now if she lost her engagement ring, which has more diamonds.
2. TOM’S SUCH A TROUPER

Tom Rodriguez was present during the Cosmo Bachelor Bash 2013 press con held on Sept. 10 at 55 Events Place. That’s not surprising since he is one of the two CosmoMen cover stars (the other one is Alden Richards) this year. The thing is that the My Husband’s Lover star is actually sick; he was confined in the hospital and just asked to be release so he could fulfil his commitments, including attending the press con. Although he feels much better, his platelet count and white blood are beyond so normal, so dengue hasn’t been ruled out yet. Sick yet sticking to his showbiz commitments? Now that’s a trouper.
3. LAUREN YOUNG IS INSPIRED

Lauren, whose show Mundo Mo’y Akin just ended and has a new show called Dormitoryo, has just shared that she is inspired by a very special someone who is teaching her to be a better person. She refuses to name the guy but shares that because of him, she has learned how to be indpenedent, how to care about and love herself even more. They’re not boyfriend-girlfriend, she clarifies. While Lauren doesn’t want to name the guy, a lot of people are assuming it is Elmo Magalona, the actor/singer/rapper son of the late Francis Magalona.
4. WILLIE REVILLAME ADMITS DISAPPOINTMENT OVER LOW RATINGS

The controversial TV host has admitted that his show Wowowillie, which is now on its last month, didn’t get the ratings it wanted. “No matter how good your show is, if the signal is not strong, people won’t watch you,” says Willie, whose show is up against GMA 7’s Eat Bulaga! and ABS-CBN’s It’s Showtime. He added that no one can beat the rapport of Tito, Vic, and Joey of Eat Bulaga!. Wowowillie will air its last episode this Oct. 12.
5. DENNIS TRILLO NOT HAPPY ABOUT SHOW’S EXTENSION

Most actors are happy when their show gets extended. Dennis Trillo, however, is not happy that his popular show My Husband’s Lover got a two-week extension. Let’s clarify that. He’s not happy because what he wants is a longer extension. After all, he’s grown attached to the show and the cast. He told Pep.ph that the show’s effect on him is different. “Parang minahal ulit ako ng mga tao dahil sa MHL. Malaki ang utang na loob ko dun, kaya nalulungkot ako na magtatapos na siya.” Well, he’s not the only one sad about the show’s nearing end we’re pretty sure about that.
