1. WAS SARAH UPSTAGED BY GUESTS REGINE AND LEA IN RECENT CONCERT?
Sarah Geronimo staged her Perfect 10 concert last Nov. 15 and she had numbers with guests regine Velasquez (“It Will Rain” by Bruno Mars) and Lea Salonga (“For Good” and “Defying Gravity”). The three also did a Barbra Streisand medley which has gotten some people saying that the two established artists upstaged Sarah. Regine shared with Pep.ph that she feels they didn’t upstage Sarah that time, and that people were there for Sarah, not them. “Hindi siya na-upstage. That’s her concert, that’s her moment. Kumbaga, binigyan lang kami ng moment.”
2. WHY RYAN CHOSE GMA OVER TV5

Ryan Agoncillo was on a roll when he was still with TV5. In fact, his show Talentadong Pinoy, which ended last Aug. 18, was doing great. So why did he return to GMA, where he now hosts the game show Picture! Picutre!? He simply loves the concept of the new show. However, while he was offered an exclusive GMA contract, he chose to go for a per-project basis since he still wants to have time for his family.
3. CRISTINE REYES IS FRIENDS WITH HER EX-BOYFRIENDS

Now here’s someone who is definitely bitter about past breakups. She shared with Pep.ph that she still regularly talks with Derek Ramsay (her latest ex) while she even gets to visit Rayver Cruz at home. She is also still close with Dennis Trillo, and talks with his siblings. Cristine is quick to clarify, however, that she’s just with friends and isn’t hiding a romantic relationship with any of them. Boxer Manny Pacquiao yesterday asked Fil-Am singer Jessica Sanchez to sing the Philippine national anthem for his fight with Brandon Rios this Sunday at the Venetian Macao’s Cotai Arena in Macau, China. The American idol alum tweeted in reply, “Yes! I’m honored!” Jessica sang the US national anthem last June 2012 when Pacquiao was up against Bradley, and lost. 5. REGINE’S DAD IS BACK HOME RECUPERATING

After a month in the hospital, Mang Gerry, Regine Velasquez’s dad, is finally back home recuperating. The Songbird told ABS-CBN News that he is staying with at her sister Cacai’s house, together with their mom, and that they are all there every Sunday. She is very thankful for all the fans and friends who prayed for her dad when she appealed for it online. “God has given us a lot of miracles, malaki, maliit pero lahat yun ay miracles. Kasi si Papa, he was really sick at that time. It was really bad timing but through prayers we are victorious. I’m so thankful and I feel very blessed. Salamat so pa lahat ng nagdasal,” she said.
