1. PHOEMELA BARANDA REVEALS 15-YEAR OLD DAUGHTER
The model and TV host revealed yesterday, Oct. 28, on Buzz ng Bayan that she has a 15-year old daughter named Kim. She got pregnant when she was 18 and gave birth in the US, after her mother convinced her to keep everything a secret in fear of motherhood affecting her career. But now Phoemela has decided to introduce Kim to everyone after 15 years and be a good mother. Kim was raised thinking Phoemela was her aunt, and then her sister. When Kim was 11, Phoemela finally admitted she’s her mother.

Phil Younghusband has finally said something about his split with Angel Locsin, just a couple of days after the actress confirmed the breakup through Twitter and Instagram. The footballer shared last Sunday afternoon that the breakup was a mutual decision and he also shared all those who supported their relationship. “Neither of us regret the time we spent together, we enjoyed each other’s company and really made the most of it. There are no faults in this, it was not an issue of who did or didn’t do something, it was a mutual decision and although it was difficult we just both felt that this would be the best thing to do given our circumstances,” he said, adding that they remain friends.

Recently, Gretchen had an exchange with basher @bullygretchen on the Instagram page of her sister-in-law Connie Barretto, where she sarcastically said that she is “blessed to have a narcissistic mother who is abusive in every way & an alcoholic father who made his 2 daughters work for the family.” It was also obvious how, based on her replies, Gretchen believes that the basher is her mother. Gretchen did not just threaten to reveal a molestation incident, she also hinted that her mother stole an expensive piece of jewelry from Miladay Jewelry Store. On the other hand, Inday told Pep.ph that she owned that missing piece, and it was eventually found and returned to her. She added that Gretchen was just around 8 to 10 years old. “That had always been her forte! Smear campaign and character assassination,” she said.
4. FAMILY OF FREDDIE’S GF IS “POOREST OF POOR”

That’s what the Department of Social Welfare and Development found out when they visited the girl’s family to confirm her age. The 16-year old’s family in Oriental Mindoro is so poor they were even a recipient of the agency’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program in 2008. According to Inquirer, the girl’s parents “are both farmers who do odd jobs between farming seasons” and that the girl is the second of three children (one is 19, the other is 14). The parents also revealed that they had to leave their home and rent an apartment some kilometres away so they can avoid possible fights. They also clarified that Freddie is not paying for their apartment; they got a loan to pay for the PHP3,000 monthly fee.

The Kapatid Network couldn’t have chosen a better host for the local version of the hit US show Killer Karaoke. Michael V, after all, is known not just for his comedy skills but for his music skills, too. He started out in the industry as a rapper and later on became known for spoofing other singers and their music videos. Killer Karaoke is a unique singing contest in several countries, and since the US version clicked with the local audience, now there’s a local version called Killer Karaoke Pinoy Naman premiering this Nov. 16 at 9pm.
