1. MUTYA DATUL IS 2013 MISS SUPRANATIONAL
Finally, a crown! Congrats to Mutya Datul, the Pinay who beat over 80 contestants at Miss Supranational held in Belarus on Sept 9. Also awarded Miss Personality, Mutya beat Mexico (first runner up), Turkey (second runner up), Indonesia (third runner up), and US Virgin Islands (fourth runner up). This means more pressure for Megan Young, who is representing the Philippines in this year’s Miss World beauty pageant.
2. VOICE PH LETS GO OF MORE CONTESTANTS AFTER 3RD LIVE SHOW

The Voice of the Philippines held its third live show last night, featuring performances from eight contestants, two per coach. The deal: Coaches would rate members of their team, and those scores would be added to text votes. The one who gets the higher score moves on to the next round, the one who doesn’t says goodbye.

Team Sarah Geronimo
Morissette Amon moves on to the next round after getting 110.41% (60% from coach, 50.41% from text votes), sending Maki home.
Team Lea
Mitoy will be back after scoring 104.11% (60% from coach, 44.11% from text votes), beating Darryl.
Team Bamboo
Paolo is still in the running with an impressive 141.24% (60% from coach, 81.24% from text votes), leaving Lee Grane packing.
Team Apl
Thor wins with a total of 119.72% (55% from coach, 64.72% from text votes), beating Penelope.
3. CONFIRMED: MELAI IS PREGNANT AND WILL MARRY BABYDADDY JASON

Melai Cantiveros admitted in The Buzz on Sept. 8 that she is indeed pregnant and that boyfriend Jason Francisco is the dad. The comedienne also shared that they found out about it when she went to the doctor for a check-up because she was getting fever all the time. She and Jason were not in good terms that time, she added, but that after they discovered a baby was on the way, “nawala ang kanyang pagkagalit.” Melai narrated how Jason proposed: When they woke up, he asked her to go to the comfort room and when she got there, “I love you. Will you marry me?” was written on the mirror. Back in bed, Jason gave her a box and when Melai opened it, it didn’t have a ring. He explained that the box would have to do for now because they didn’t have money. Later on, however, he produced the ring, and Melai was so touched she cried.

Well, this is a surprise: Julie Anne San Jose and Kristoffer Martin are now a love team because they have a new primetime soap for the Kapuso Network. It’s called Kahit Saan Ka Man, which according to Julie is “medyo drama talaga” and “may pagka-musical.” Julie was supposed to be part of the new GMA series Dormitoryo, but that didn’t push through and now she has something better. The soap, after all, will really showcase her acting skills and give her a chance to work with other stars. Interestingly, a lot of their fans are very supportive. Julie may be known for her love team with Elmo Magalona and Kristoffer may already have a girlfriend (Joyce Ching), but many supporters have expressed their support for Julie and Kristoffer online. There’s even a name for their love team: KrisLie!
