Sure, our country’s bet has been an early favourite but it looks like some people are out there to ruin her chances of winning the Miss World crown. The British edition of the online publication International Business Times reported that several fans of the competition are outraged upon discovering the topless photos of Megan published in the March 2012 issue of Rogue magazine. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if this will affect Megan’s performance during the coronation night, which is already happening tomorrow.

2. CONTROVERSIAL CLAUDINE PHOTOS SURFACE

Floating in cyberspace are photos of Claudine Barretto looking like she’s injecting her arm with drugs and fighting with husband Raymart Santiago. Are these the examples of proof that Raymart mentioned when he said he has evidence that would show everyone Claudine is a druggie? Or are these manipulated images done by people against Claudine?
3. ABS-CBN COPIES GMA AGAIN?
Doing good is GMA 7’s Anak Ko Yan, a reality show and talent search that involves kids and their stage parents. It is hosted by Jennylyn Mercado and has singer Dulce and dancer Rochelle Pangilinan as coaches. It looks like ABS-CBN is once again “copying” GMA 7. Not totally, of course, but they just had to release a parent-and-kid show: a local version of the international hit Bet On Your Baby. It will be hosted by Judy Ann Santos and will premiere this October. Of course, they are two different shows, but still…
4. SID OKAY TO WORK WITH EX-FLAME HEART

Wait, did you know that Sid Lucero and Heart Evangelista dated before??? Coz we didn’t know about that! Sid, who took a break from showbiz after experiencing some personal problems (like heartbreak), told Rappler.com that when he broke up with musician Bea Lao, he dated Legacy co-star Heart, who back then just broke up with Daniel Matsuanaga. They went out on dates but nothing really materialized. Now Sid is back with Bea and they have a daughter named Halo, while Heart is with Sen. Chiz Escudero. Sid and Heart reunite in the GMA series Magkano Ba ang Pag-ibig?, and it looks like things are perfectly fine between the two.
5. ARE YOU READY FOR THE VOICE PH GRAND FINALS?

A lot of people were surprised when early favourites Radha and Thor were sent home last week on The Voice of the Philippines. So now everyone can’t wait to see who will win the first-ever local version of the hit international talent search: Mitoy of Team Lea, Klarisse of Team Sarah, Myk of Team Bamboo, or Janice of Team Apl. The finals this weekend will be very different from how the last shows happened; the coaches will no longer get to vote so the winner will be chosen just by the voting audience. How to vote? Text and online votes will still be counted but there’s another way of voting: through iTunes downloads. So go support your favourites by downloading their original songs: Mitoy’s “Bulag,” Klarisse’s “Slowly,” Myk’s “Fix You,” and Janice’s “Coming Home.”
