1. JAKE CUENCA DIDN’T SEE ANYTHING THAT NIGHT WHEN ANNE CURTIS SLAPPED 3 PEOPLE
Jake Cuenca is one of the guys involved in the recent “I can buy you”/slapping incident of Anne Curtis in Prive; he together with John Lloyd Cruz supposedly pulled a prank on Anne when she was in the comfort room. He addressed this by announcing on Twitter that he’s too old to be pulling pranks on others. Jake recently talked about the issue again in between tapings for his show Maria Mercedes, yesterday, Dec. 12. He said that both Anne and John Lloyd are friends, and that he got annoyed that when it came to his part, “it was blown out of proportion.” He also said he doesn’t want to say too much about the issue anymore because everyone is reacting too much. “I don’t understand why everyone is so affected by it,” he said. “For in reality, importante naman dun, okay lahat ng parties. 2. ANGEL SURPRISED BY PHIL’S ANNOUNCEMENT THAT HE STILL LOVES HER

Sure, they’ve gone their separate ways but Phil Younghusband recently shared that he’s still in love with ex-girlfriend Angel Locsin. Asked by the press whether he finds KC Concepcion lovable, he said, “I love Angel, that’s why… I’m still in love with Angel so Angel is the only one I’m thinking about on my lonesome.” Interestingly, Angel was surprised by this revelation. Especially because he shared it with the media first, instead of telling her directly. She told ABS-CBN News that it’s not really an issue but that they haven’t been talking about their relationship so “kung mag–uusap, mag–uusap; kung hindi, hindi.” Angel also doesn’t want to stress herself with all the mind games experienced by couple who just broke up and then are trying to patch things up.

3. PAULO – KC UPDATE

Remember when Paulo Avelino revealed that he’s seeing KC Concepcion? And how it didn’t take long before KC clarified that they may be seeing each other but that they’re not exclusively dating? In case you’re wondering how the two are now, Paulo told Pep.ph that everything’s “the same, the same” and that they’re both busy right now so they haven’t been seeing each other lately. 4. VIC SAYS WALLY SHOULD APOLOGIZE ABOUT SEX VIDEO SCANDAL BEFORE SHOWBIZ COMEBACK

After the sex video scandal of Eat Bulaga! host Wally Bayola and EB Babes dancer Yosh Rivera leaked last September, we didn’t really get to see or hear from Wally anymore. Vic Sotto, who is one of the hosts of the show, was asked by Kris Aquino when he was a guest on her show Kris TV last Dec. 12 about the possibility of Wally returning to the show, and Vic said that he thinks he can, but that “he has to apologize.” Vic said that he thinks people will understand; the Filipinos are forgiving, after all. And it looks like that’s very true because when Wally made a sort-of-comeback through a show with his partner Jose Manalo in Olongapo, he was warmly received. Wally thanked the fans for receiving him warmly, and the show turned out to be very successful, Jose told Pep.ph.

5. MELANIE MARQUEZ SURVIVES CAR ACCIDENT

Former beauty queen Melanie Marquez is currently in a hospital after a car accident that gave her a fractured spine and sternum. According to Maxine Bumgardner (one of her two daughters from ex-hubby Derek Dee), Melanie’s pick-up truck fell into a 12-foot ravine in Arizona last Dec. 7. Melanie’s son Adam had minor cuts while two other passengers sustained serious injuries. Maxine added, “Her truck fell into a cement canal about twice her height with no way out. However, because of her willpower and strength she was able to climb her way out of the cement canal. She had to walk a long ways away from the accident before she found a way out. You cannot see the canal from the road. Yes the 4 people in the accident were alone and nobody knew that there was even an accident.
