1. CLAUDINE’S EX-P.A. SUES HER FOR THEFT. IS GRETCHEN BEHIND IT?
Juicy.
Everyone’s assuming that Gretchen Barretto is behind the move of Dessa Patilan to sue Claudine Barretto for theft. Why? Claudine’s lawyer has some answers: 1.) Dessa waited for four months before filing her case; 2.) She did it only after Claudine filed cases of preotection order, violence against women, and perjury, against Raymart Santiago. Lastly, Dessa is represented by Atty. Alma Mallonga of the Siguion Reyna, Montecillo & Ongsiako Law Office, which has already represented both Gretchen and her partner Tonyboy Cojuangco in the past. Alma admits that Gretchen’s a client and a good friend and that Dessa’s case was brought to her attention by Gretchen herself. However, she clarifies that she’s doing the case pro bono – she’s not receiving anything from Gretchen or Tonyboy. “We do not receive any instructions from Gretchen on this matter. Our client is Dessa. I was able to assess personally that this young girl needs help,” she said.
2. RHIAN RAMOS IS IN A JARS OF CLAY MUSIC VIDEO
Congrats to Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos, who appears in the Jars of Clay music video for “Fall Asleep.” On Twitter, Rhian thanked the video’s director, Luis Daniel Tabuena, and the members of the American Christian band. The band tweeted, “Many thanks to @whianwamos for being wonderfully perfect in our Fall Asleep video!”
In reply, Rhian said, “I just feel very lucky to be part of your brilliance colliding.”
3. IS ANGEL LOCSIN PLAYING DARNA AGAIN?

The Kapamilya actress is most probably best known for portraying the superheroine back in 2005 when she was still with GMA 7. And now that her home station ABS-CBN has acquired exclusive rights to the popular Mars Ravelo character, there’s buzz that Angel will once again play Darna on TV. She’d love to do it again, she told ABS-CBN News, explaining that she really feels like she is Darna. “Part na siya ng pagkatao ko.” However, she’s perfectly fine if someone else – someone from the younger generation – gets to do it this time. Playing Darna did wonders for her career, and she knows it’d do wonders for the career of the next one who will do it. “Ayaw kong ipagdamot sa iba yung experience na yun.”
4. RYZZA MAE IS A POSITIVE INFLUENCE ON BIMBY

Kris Aquino is happy that her son Bimby is working with nice and grounded people like Vic Sotto and child star Ryzza Mae Dizon, who are their co-stars in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry Torky and My Little Bossings. According to Marie Lozano of ABS-CBN News, Ryzza told Bimby that he should be good in speaking Tagalog, as well, and Kris was surprised when she was greeted last night by Bimby with, “Mama, magandang gabi po,” and “Kamusta po trabaho niyo?” Bimby is also learning more about sharing. When he gave Ryzza chocolates, she exclaimed that it’s the best chocolate she’s ever tasted, making Bimby say that he’d love to bring more for her the next day.

5. JAY-R IS MARRIED TO HIS MUSIC
The singer may be out dating and is even entertaining marriage at this point in his life (after breaking up with Krista Kleiner not so long ago), but his priority really is his career. At 32, he’s very busy with Homeworkz, which produces music, albums and even music videos. He’s also got seven artists under him right now, and is a one-man team doing everything: recording music, paperwork, shoots, and even some PR work for his artists.
