1. DEREK RAMSAY REJECTS MANY OFFERS FROM WOMEN
Derek has a new show on TV5 called For Love or Money, where he plays a guy married to a young woman (Ritz Azul) but gets an indecent proposal from another woman (Alice Dixson). During the press con for the show, Pep,ph asked him if he’s had offers and he shared, “I have many offers.” He explained that he’d get offered money and cars, among other things, but that even before he finds out about the specifics, he rejects the offers. Kinda hard for some people but quite easy for Derek, who’s someone who after graduation stopped asking for money from his parents and was able to make it on his own.
2. ISABEL OLI READY TO MARRY JOHN PRATS SOON

“I know she’s ready anytime,” John Prats shared with ABS-CBN News during an interview for his new show I Dare You, pertaining to girlfriend Isabel. “Siguro that’s what I like about her. Hindi siya kagaya ng ibang artista ngayon na focused sa career. Maganda sa kanya kasi nakikita niya ang sarili niya to be a housewife.” He added that while they have been talking about marriage but he doesn’t want to talk about the engagement because “bawal pag-usapan at sorpresa sa kanya yon.”

Daniel Matsunaga, who’s part of the Star Cinema movie She’s the One, was asked during the press con last night how he knows she’s “the one.” He explained that it takes him some time because he wants to get to know the person first. “Yung inside the person muna, not just the outside, yung look,” he said. Daniel also admitted that he thought ex-girlfriend was “the one.” He said with a laugh, “Pero, you know, mali pala ako! Mali, eh. Hindi natuloy, so mali yung inisip ko!”

Dream, believe, survive… StarStruck! Can you believe it’s been a decade since the first season of the GMA 7 talent search first aired? Good news for fans is that there will be a reunion and anniversary show very soon, according to one of its graduates, Sheena Halili, who shared that it’s scheduled end of this year or early next year. Other members of the first batch are Jennylyn Mercado, Mark Herras, Yasmien Kurdi, Rainier Castillo, Katrina Halili, Cristine Reyes, and Dion Ignacio.
5. ENRIQUE AFFECTED BY ONSCREEN KISS WITH BEA

Not everyone’s a fan of how Enrique Gil is one of the leading men of Bea Alonzo in the film She’s the One because of their age gap. So imagine how everyone felt when the two had to kiss (the kiss wasn’t originally part of the script, however and was later on just added). So how did Enrique prepare for his first onscreen kiss? He joked that he had to use a lot of mouthwash, but also shared that he was very nervous and was even perspiring during the kissing scene, while Bea seemed nonchalant about the whole thing. Enrique admitted that he, well, enjoyed the kissing scene. “Syempre, nakakadala yung eksena. Kasi kapag hindi ka nadala, hindi maganda. Dapat madala talaga.”
