1. DENIECE CORNEJO DENIES SHE’S AN ESCORT
She emailed Philippine Daily Inquirer yesterday: “I have never been employed in any club as an escort,” after news spread about how A Malaysian guy let her stay in his condo unit (yes, THAT condo unit) for free. Deniece explained that she met the Malaysian, Greg Binunus, “through a girl who purchased goods” from her (Deniece sells fashion items online). The girl “happened to work at a piano bar. She gave Mr. Greg my number, hoping that he would purchase goods from me in order for her to get a commission.” She added, “During my meeting with Mr. Greg, he also discussed his other projects. He mentioned that he was opening a Southeast Asian restaurant… in the Fort and asked me to be an endorser and [to also] help him [in] branding and management since I am a hospitality management student.” Best of all, she said, “I then decided to stay in that unit [on] a short-term basis while looking for a more accessible place in exchange for helping him in his business.”

2. VICE GANDA HAD HER EYES DONE

The It’s Showtime host was teased during their episode yesterday, Feb. 17, her co-hosts hinting that she had undergone a cosmetic procedure. While the song “Chinito” was playing in the background, Kim Atienza told her, “Alam mo Vice parang may napapansin ako, parang ang ganda ng mga mata mo.” In reply, Vice just thanked Vicki Belo, saying, “I love you doctora Vicki Belo!” She also told guest judge Angeline Quinto, “Hoy Angeline, magpasalamat pareho tayong ginawa! Uso chinito ngayon, noh?”
3. DENNIS TRILLO SIGNS 3-YEAR CONTRACT WITH GMA 7

The My Husband’s Lover star remains a Kapuso, after he signed a three-year contract with the network yesterday, Feb. 17. He told the press that he wasn’t really concerned about the money and that he puts more importance on how they value him as an artist and how they are willing to allow him to offer more of himself as an actor. “Secure ako dito sa GMA. Eleven years na akong andito and alam kong hindi nila ako pababayaan,” he said.

4. IS ANNE CURTIS TOO OLD TO BE DYESEBEL?

Some people have an issue with Anne being chosen to be Dyesebel: she’s too old for it. However, she told the press during her birthday press con recently that she’s not hurt by such comments. At 29 years old, she says that people tell her she doesn’t look her age. “And how I am as a person, I don’t act my age,” she added. One thing is for sure: Louise delos Reyes, GMA 7’s answer to Dyesebel (care of Kambal Sirena) sure is one fresh mermaid.

5. PIOLO PASCUAL’S SON IS NOW AN ACTOR

Yup, Inigo is now an actor, just like his dad. He is part of the move Relaks, It’s Just Pag-ibig, which also stars Julian Estrada. The movie is under Spring Films, Piolo’s movie production outfit. So what made Papa P say yes? He said Inigo really wanted it but he only said yes as long as he won’t promote it. Meaning no promo, even on-cam promo. He told Pep.ph, “He’s getting into Theater Arts, so kelangan niya ng credit points to get scholarship kaya ako pumayag.”
