1. CRISTINE STILL LOVES DEREK
They may no longer be together but Cristine Reyes has admitted that she still loves Derek Ramsay. She told ABS-CBN News that her love for him never went away. “Nag-stay pa rin ang love ko for him as someone na special,” she said. “Hindi lang friend kasi more than two years kaming more than friends but we tried maging lovers but hindi kami lovers talaga. I think as close friends.” She added that a third party didn’t cause the break-up. It’s because she thinks she’s not yet ready to be in a serious relationship with Derek. She explains that she ended up being so guarded every time she was with Derek when they were lovers, and that she felt she couldn’t show her real personality.

Paulo Avelino and KC Concepcion have admitted that they are seeing each other (with KC emphasizing that it’s not exclusive). KC’s mom Sharon Cuneta told Buzz ng Bayan that she doesn’t want to get involved in her daughter’s relationships but “okay lang sa akin basta masaya si KC,” she said. Gabby, in a separate interview with Buzz ng Bayan, shared that it doesn’t matter who KC loves. “Basta ang importante doon, naipapakita nila ang concern nila sa isa’t isa.”

Not everyone was happy when Julie Anne San Jose was given a new partner, Kristoffer Martin, for the soap Kahit Nasaan Ka Man, which just ended last week. So poor Kristoffer, who had to receive some hate from solid Julielmo fans. We don’t get to read much about it, but can you believe that Solenn Heussaff is already taken? In fact, she’s been with Argentinian Nico Bolzico for almost three years already! She shared with Pep.ph her secret to a successful romantic relationship: if you’re from showbiz, your partner should NOT be from showbiz. “Para walang intriga, walang chismis, keep it on the low key.” It also helps that they trust each other and that they give each other lots of space and time. Well, something like that. Mr. C told pep.ph that he’s doing a version of “The Prayer” using the Loboc Children’s Choir but together with big name singers, of course. No final list of confirmed singers, so far, but it should be done by next week. The best thing about it is that 100% of the sales will go to the Philippine disaster fund.
