Teen star Barbie Forteza has definitely grown up! The former tween star just turned 16 last July 31 and while her parents are very much in control, she says that she’s ready to be independent. But driving and leaving the house without a chaperone has got to wait because her mom and dad agreed that the only time she’ll have that freedom is when she turns 18. But she actually can entertain suitors and even have a boyfriend; it’s just that she chooses not to prioritize her love life. Which is very good! She is just 16, after all.
3. DEREK AND CRISTINE PLAN TRIPS ABROAD

Looks like Derek Ramsay and Cristine Reyes are having fun being a couple. After officially being BF-GF last August 28, the two – more of Derek, actually – have been expressive of their feelings for each other. Derek in particular has been professing his feelings for Cristine online. Check his Instagram account and you’ll see a couple of photos where they’re kissing. But going back to their planned trips, Interaksyon reports that they will be going to Hong Kong for Halloween, Palawan for Christmas, and Brazil for World Cup 14. They will be with their respective group of friends, according to Derek, because “they all get along.”

Did you know that teen stars Bea Binene and Jake Vargas have already called it quits? We didn’t know they were together in the first place! The two broke up last July 28 and basing on their guestings, it looks like both of them are very affected. But it looks like Bea might move on sooner than Jake because there’s someone who’s trying to make her smile: actor Ken Chan. He’s even surprised Bea on the set of her show Vampire Ang Daddy Ko. She admits that they’re getting to know each other, but clarified that they’re not dating. “Hanggang dun na muna yun,” she says.
