Our rapid-fire roundup of things happening in Philippine showbiz.
1. CEDRIC LEE CLAIMS HE DOES NOT KNOW ROXANNE ACOSTA
And so another woman has come out in the open claiming that Vhong Navarro raped her four years ago. Roxanne, a beauty pageant hopeful who was booted out of the competition because of a nude photo scandal, said that she is filing a case now after realizing that she’s not Vhong’s last victim. Expectedly, people are assuming that Cedric (aka the man who beat up Vhong) has something to do with all of this. He clarified with Pep.ph, however, that he doesn’t know Roxanne. He sent a text message to Pep: “But since we found out now thru the news that she’s also a victim of the rapist Vhong, then we’ll ask our lawyers to try to get to know their lawyers, so maybe we can work together and support each other. There’s nothing wrong with that. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”

Per day and I eat plenty of vegetables and fruits,” she said. A lot of people are clamouring for a Book 2, considering how successful the first one was. So how does Dennis Trillo feel about this? “May naririnig akong mga balita,” he told GMANetwork.com. “Sana matuloy! Kung sakaling magkaroon ng part 2, gagawin naming lahat para mas lalo siyang kagiliwan. Kung ano yung dedication na binigay namin sa Book 1 eh ganun din pa din yung level ng consistency ng series sa Book 2.” Okay. We’re all excited, but there’s no confirmation yet. Sounds pretty possible, however, considering how Dennis just signed a three-year contract with the network.
