What is it with artistas wanting to join politics? Ai-Ai de las Alas shared with the show Tapatan ni Tunying that she plans to run for a seat in Congress after her showbiz career. The 49-year old comedienne said that she still feels 50-50 about it because she’s still busy with her showbiz career. Looks like it, basing on all the sweet messages the two have been exchanging online. For example, John Prats last Tuesday posted a photo of him kissing Isabel Oli on the forehead and saying in the caption that they’ll already be together next Christmas and New Year. Isabel replied, “God bless you my love!!! Blessed new year to u Hubb.” Expectedly, fans and followers speculated that a wedding will take place very, very soon. 3. THE FACE OF MERCEDES CABRAL WAS ALL OVER TIMES SQUARE

When Jason Francisco got his girlfriend Melai Cantiveros pregnant and announced they planned to get married, their Banana Split co-star Pooh questioned Jason’s ability to give them a good future, while another co-star, Angelica Panganiban, said Pooh is entitled to his opinion. This hurt the couple, who recently got married. But everything is okay now. Jason told ABS-CBN News that Angelica asked for forgiveness for any hurt she might have caused them and his family. Jason appreciates the move since he considers Angelica to be such a big star, and looks up to her even more now.

Congrats to Shamcey Supsup, who is now Mrs. Lloyd Lee, after a beautiful wedding at the Church of the Risen Lord inside the University of the Philippines in Diliman last Dec. 29.
