Elaine Cuneta, mother of Sharon Cuneta and grandmother of KC Concepcion, passed away yesterday, Nov. 5.
She was 79.
Cuneta was in the hospital for almost two months, spending the last seven weeks in intensive care, and was supposed to undergo surgery on November 6, but she did not make it.
She was confined for abdominal pains last Sept. 2 and died due to internal bleeding and complications arising from abdominal surgery.
