Who do Zsa Zsa Padilla and her latest beau Conrad Onglao have to thank for their newfound relationship? Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
“It all started when megastar Sharon Cuneta, whose house Conrad is designing and building, asked the architect if she could set him up with her friend; Sharon didn’t say who, at first. Then Sharon asked her close friend, Zsa Zsa, if she was ready to go out on a date again,” reports Thelma Sioson San Juan on Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Cuneta then gave them each other’s mobile numbers and the two set a blind date via text. “Zsa Zsa didn’t know who Conrad is, except that he is an architect. Conrad didn’t and still doesn’t know show biz.”
The two had early dinner in a Makati restaurant which stretched to three hours. They have now been seeing each other for a month and a half — their most recent public outing was at Gary Valenciano’s 30th anniversary concert in Araneta Coliseum where they were captured on TV HHWW (holding hands while walking).
