Actress Shaina Magdayao just finished shooting the movie, Lily, which is director Keith Deligero’s entry in the 2016 Cinema One Originals Film Fest.
Lily is a horror movie based on a Cebu urban legend. Shaina plays the title character, who is a witch who eats human flesh.
Shaina has shown her “Lily look” in some posts on her Instagram page.
PEP reports that the film uses the Cebuano or Bisaya.
Shaina’s parents are from Cebu. She disclosed, “What’s interesting is the whole film is in Bisaya. We shot it in Cebu, so buong team is Bisaya. Nakakaintindi naman kasi talaga ako pero I cannot speak.”
She added, “During shooting mayroon akong speech coach, siyempre proud Bisaya, Cebu si Daddy. Finally I got to do something na mapagmamalaki ko na Cebuana ako.”
Lily is set to be shown next month.
