Several members of the SexBomb dance group yesterday filed a complaint at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to urge the agency to track down one of its online critics.
Aira Bermudez, Grace Nera, and Jopay Paguia said they have been lambasted by several accounts on social media for years. They believe that the said accounts are owned by just one person.
The critic would also allegedly order items from e-commerce sites, and these would be delivered to the SexBomb dancers’ homes without their prior approval. The women would end up paying for the deliveries upon their arrival.
“We spoke to the NBI because we want to know who is behind these fake accounts. What they are doing is terrible, like they’re already mentioning our families,” Bermudez said in Filipino on the news program 24 Oras.
Nera said that a woman, who claimed to be one of their fans, approached her and promised to help her track down the critic. Nera decided to hire the woman as a domestic worker.
The dancer somehow managed to find the cellphone number of her alleged basher and called it. Nera alleged that her domestic worker answered the call, and fled her home after she learned about her secret.
“If you think you can fool us, you can’t fool the law. Remember that. You will be caught,” Paguia warned the critic.
The SexBomb dancers became famous in the late 1990s for appearing on the noontime show Eat Bulaga. They also starred in the afternoon soap opera Daisy Siete.
