Senior citizens, students, and persons with disabilities will get a 30-percent discount on tickets for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entries.
This was announced by Liza Diño, the chairwoman of the Film Development Council of the Philippines.
“This is part of a campaign to encourage more moviegoers to support local movies, comprised mostly of independent productions,” reports ABS-CBN News Online.
The report noted: “Those who want to avail of the discount need to present valid documents such as school IDs and senior citizen cards upon buying the movie tickets.”
Diño assured, “It’s automantic once they go to the ticket booths.”
