Like you, we never quite learned to love queueing. That’s something people who have no diskarte have to do. That’s why, when we’re catching a movie at Power Plant in Rockwell on weekend, we never line up for tickets.

Our secret: Power Plant Cinema’s administration office sells movie tickets on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It’s a fluorescent-lit space, so this is not somewhere you’d want to bring a date. Needless to say, this will have to be a covert operation. This is an open secret among Rockwell residents and, by right, this privilege is normally extended only to them, but the guard assigned on that day can readily be convinced if you are handicapped or with a senior citizen; we say, choose your props wisely. To get there: walk past the box office and head towards Cinema 2, where you turn left and walk straight all the way to end of the corridor. That’s where the admin office is and it looks like the photo below.
