Schadenfreude: Kris Aquino encounters rude customer service in HK

Oh Kris Aquino, you’re just like everyone else, apparently.

The so-called Queen of All Media took to Instagram to apologize to some fans who had asked to have a photo taken with her in Hong Kong but couldn’t wait for her to finish her transaction at a beauty store. 

It wasn’t Krissy’s fault.

The sister of the former president said she received subpar service at the chain store — which she refused to name because “masungit talaga their service” (their service is cranky).

After she had paid for her items, the bag checker inspected the lashes and eyeliner she bought one by one.

“Super slow na nga, hindi pa nice yung salesgirls eh bayad naman na & kung nagka-mistake, not my fault but the cashier’s,” Kris said.

(Not only was the service super slow, the salesgirls were not even nice though I already paid for my items, and if there was a mistake it’s not my fault but the cashier’s.)

“Sad because so different from the innate charm of Pinoys, and the efficiency & helpfulness of the Japanese,” she continued.

Unfortunately, the fans who wanted a photo were gone by the time Kris was ready for her close up.

“I hope this message manages to reach you — hindi ko intention (it’s not my intention) to not have a pic — I just didn’t want it inside the store,” Kris said.

While it’s unfortunate that Kris did not get the service she truly deserved (and that those fans were not able to have a photo with her), we have to admit it’s a bit… surprising that a Philippine showbiz royalty is not immune to bad service while on vacation.
