Congrats to Sarah Geronimo for being nominated in the Best Southeast Asian Act category of this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards!
The Popstar Princess is up against superstar neighbours like Noah of Indonesia, Yuna of Malaysia, Stefanie Sun of Singapore, and Slot Machine of Thailand.
There are wildcard contenders, too, which includes the band Up Dharma Down. They are up against five others, and the one that gets the most number of votes will be part of the main list. Of course, we’re all hoping it’s Up Dharma Down that will be up with Sarah Geronimo there.
Guess we’ll have to wait for Sep 16, when they announce the final nominee,
