K-pop stars, they’re just like us.
Apparently, former 2NE1 member and Pinoy-at-heart Sandara Park couldn’t help but bring some food while hopping from one Paris Fashion Week (PFW) show to another. Her snack of choice? The classic Filipino candy Choc Nut.
Her love for the snack was revealed in a YouTube video by Elle Korea on Monday when she shared what was inside her bag in between PFW shows.
Park also reposted the video on her Twitter the same day.
Park’s bag contained skin-care and make-up products but what caught the attention of Filipinos was the small brick-like chocolate-peanut candy in her purse. Choc Nut is a popular snack that kids bring to school; it is readily available in corner stores and groceries.
Filipino netizens thought it was funny AF.

While Park is South Korean, she grew up in the Philippines and still visits the country a lot. She’s been well-loved by Filipinos since joining the reality TV competition Star Circle Quest in 2004.
