MANILA – Fans of the Aga Muhlach-Lea Salonga tandem, this one’s for you! “Sana Maulit Muli,” is returning in high definition (HD).

Twenty years since its premiere, the Olivia Lamasan film has been digitally restored and re-mastered and will be screened on July 10, 7 p.m., at the University of the Philippines Film Institute in Quezon City.

“Sana Maulit Muli” is the latest film classic to be restored by ABS-CBN Film Archives, alongside “Maalaala Mo Kaya The Movie,” “Nagsimula sa Puso” and “Madrasta.”

In the last two years, old films that have been re-released in HD included “Himala,” “Oro Plata Mata,” “Ganito Kami Noon, Paano Kayo Ngayon,” and “Virgin People.”

In February, a trio of Vilma Santos movies also got special screenings: “Anak,” “Kapag Langit ang Humatol” and “Bata, Bata… Paano Ka Ginawa?”.

ABS-CBN Film Archives has also restored more recent titles, such as “Miss You Like Crazy,” “One More Chance,” “Milan,” “Tanging Yaman,” “Anak,” “Feng Shui,” and “My Amnesia Girl” — all hits produced by Star Cinema.
