Remember that bit of news about an allegedly drunk Anne shouting at Sam (rumored boyfriend of her lil sis Jasmine), telling him he’s not classy enough to be in a place like 71 Gramercy? That was during Vice Ganda’s birthday party, and the juicy part is that people supposedly witnessed the event and they were asked by Vice to keep quiet. The juicer part is that Anne denied, explaining that they did get to talk, but that it was just her telling Sam to take care of her sister, etc.
And now the singer-actor has finally addressed the issue. Yay!
After a press con for his latest endorsement, the restaurant Chef’s Noodle, he told the Arniel C. Serato of Pep.ph that “We did see each other and we did talk. Of course, I understand where she’s coming from. I understand what she’s saying. I understand that… kasi katulad din, ganun, if I had a little sister, syempre I will look out for my sister. Syempre all of that has valid reasons.”
He added that he was surprised when Anne approached him. “Wala naman po sa aming ini-expect na… it was a surprise. But yun nga, she has her reasons. Whatever reason. Syempre, family po yun ni Jasmine eh, so maiintindihan ko po. And I really respect her. I respect Anne. I respect her family.”
He admits that he’s overwhelmed with all the news reports that have been published, and emphasized that he is “very understanding of people” and that he’s “really doing it for Jas.” He said, I will go through whatever for her.”
“Syempre, as the guy – I’m the one courting Jas, ako yung nanliligaw, di ba – whatever the situation, it’s always the guy who has to make an effort. Yun talaga yung stand ko, so syempre, like I said, gagawin ko naman po lahat for Jasmine.”
In closing, he said that “okay po kami ni Anne, ni Jasmine.”
