The moment we all were waiting for!
Deniece Cornejo and Roxanne Cabanero, who have both accused Vhong Navarro of rape, finally got to meet each other—in jail last June 1, on Deniece’s 23rd birthday.
And boy was that a moment.
The two hugged tight when they first met, wtih Roxanne telling Deniece, “We share the same trauma” and “Sorry it happened to you. Be strong. Kaya mo ito. Kaya natin ito.”
As for Deniece, she shared with News5 that “nahawakan ko at nayakap ko siya, parang ano, I feel complete. Yun. Yun eh. And andito ako, kahit ano, kahit mahirap at masakit. Hinding-hindi ako bibitaw. Hindi ako bibitaw. Idi-devote ko ang buong buhay ko sa laban na ito.”
