There goes another celebrity couple. It is breakup season, indeed.
Celebrities Robi Domingo and Gretchen Ho confirmed their break up on Wed night, following rumors that their 3-year relationship was on the rocks. The ex-couple said that “there is too much happening right now” and they want to focus on their careers, ABS-CBN News reports.
Domingo said that he is still hurting because of the breakup, but he emphasized that it was a mutual decision. He added that there was no third party involved in the relationship. (Nope, he isn’t seeing K-pop sensation former 2NE1 member Sandara Park.)
Robi said that he needs to move on.
“Siguro unfair kung hindi ko pagbibigyan ang trabaho ko na kailangan kong mahalin pero mas magiging unfair kung hindi ko maibibigay ‘yung time na deserve niya,” Domingo said.
(It will be unfair if I don’t focus on the job I love, but it would be worse if I don’t give her the time she deserves.)
For her part, Gretchen ask asked for time and privacy via the micro-blogging site Twitter.
“Please don’t believe everything you read or hear. Will clarify soon enough,” Gretchen tweeted.
Breakup rumors started going around in January after the two stopped posting photos of each other on their respective Instagram accounts. They first started dating in 2012.
