Rica Peralejo irked by unprofessional hospital staff

Of all the places to experience unprofessional behavior, Rica Peralejo had to deal with it in a posh hospital while waiting for patient care.

Rica said she went to St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig to get her ‘tummy aches’ checked.

Rica, who expected to get her treatment immediately, then complained on her Facebook page that the hospital staff wanted to take a photo with her ‘one by one’

“I find it absolutely unprofessional that nurses and staff in the hospital will want to take my photo ONE BY ONE despite the fact that I am here precisely because I am not feeling well. Hospital: St. Luke’s BGC,” Rica wrote.

Rica decided to bring her dissatisfaction to a representative of the hospital and she said they expressed regret for the incident.

In her next entry on Instagram, she posted, “I appreciate their sincere apology naman.”

The actress clarified that the incident happened at the eighth floor of St. Lukes’ BGC, and not at the emergency room: “Apparently, they have different policies — simply put, parang private and government owned lang,” Rica shared.

Rica also suggested that a memo on hospital behavior be given to the clinic: “Clinics still carry their (BGC’s) name, having to hold theirs in their hospital,” she reasoned out.

On a lighter note, Rica said she ate a chocolate bar to keep her spirits up amid the incident, only to find out it was among the the food she should avoid.

Toink!!!

Done with tests, waiting for results. Time has gone to different people asking me details about the St Luke’s incident. Explained that it did not happen at the ER but on the 8th floor with some of the staff from clinics on that floor. Apparently, they have different policies – simply put parang private and government owned lang. Anyway I just told St Luke’s rep that they can perhaps give a memo because clinics still carry their name, having to hold theirs in their hospital. And i appreciate their sincere apology naman. For a background of what happened… Ah na. Let me just blog about that when i have time. For now i am still so sad that i cannot drink coffee. nakain ko nga ang chocolate na ito sa sama ng loob ko…tapos nakita ko sa list bawal din pala sya, toink!!!
