A lot of people were excited when newly-wed Marian Rivera announced that she was part of the cast of The Rich Man’s Daughter, the upcoming GMA 7 show about lesbian love, so it’s understandable when people had doubts when she announced that she was pregnant. And now she has withdrawn from the exciting project to make sure she prioritizes her health and the health of her baby with Dingdong Dantes.
Despite having shot some scenes already, the production has no choice but to start from scratch and get a replacement for Marian Rivera. While names like Lovi Poe, Heart Evangelista, and Carla Abellana surfaced as possible replacements, it’s been confirmed that Rhian Ramos is the one who will fill in Marian’s shoes. In fact, Rhian is scheduled to start taping today as Jade Tanchingco, a married woman who falls for another woman.
