Did Ellen Adarna ditch her original Star Magic Ball date, Ejay Falcon, in favor of Paolo Avelino?
While Ejay and Ellen looked sweet and romantic on the red carpet, it was another story inside the Makati Shangri-La ballroom.
Ejay, who asked Ellen out via a messaging app, was seen alone at the dance floor for long periods of time.
“Si Ejay, mukhang asar sa nangyari,” the ABS-CBN report said along with a video of Ejay looking like he’s left out of all the fun.
After the report came out, Ellen then got a lot of bashing from people online, saying the starlet appeared to violate all the unwritten rules of party etiquette.
But on his Instagram page, Ejay asked the people not to judge Ellen: “She’s an amazing date. Nag-enjoy ako kasama siya. Wala rin namang problema na makipag-usap siya sa mga malapit nya rin na kaibigan. Party naman yun, so natural lang na mag-interact sa ibat-ibang tao. Happy at thankful pa rin ako na pumayag siya maging date ko. I wouldn’t change a thing.”
