If you were a fan of the singing competition Star In A Million back in 2003, then you might know runner-up Marinel Santos. In a Facebook video she posted Wednesday, Santos proved that she’s still as talented as you remember.
While vacationing here in the Philippines, mall staff recognized her and asked her to sing Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahlin (I’ll love you tomorrow), a song she performed in the competition.
“Mall staff requested me to jam at the karaoke,” Santos wrote in her caption. And she obliged.
The video has over 219,000 views as of posting time.
Star In A Million launched the careers of Erik Santos, Sheryn Regis, and Christian Bautista, who are still active in the entertainment industry today.
While Santos placed second runner-up in the competition, she hasn’t been seen in the mainstream spotlight for a while. According to her Facebook page, she’s still performing in Macau, China.
