The actress has filed for temporary protection order against her hubby Raymart last Monday, July 29 (read about the story HERE) and while she wasn’t really specific about what he did to her, she (her lawyer, actually) did say that he caused her “all kinds of stress.” Everyone’s assumption, of course, is that Raymart physically abused her.
And now Raymart has broken his silence.
In a statement in Filipino that he sent to Inquirer, he explained that he never really spoke about the issue but he’s breaking he’s finally speaking up because of all the derogatory remarks from Claudine’s camp. “I’m doing this for the sake of our children,” he said. “It is not true that I’ve abused the mother of my kids in any way. As a father, I will never do anything that would harm my kids. I’ve never lifted a hand against any of them.”

He emphasized that he knows people who can prove that he’s a good father and that Claudine is capable of making up stories. “Again, I strongly deny her accusations,” he said. “The truth will come out eventually. I will answer all accusations in court at the proper time.”
