Remember when Rachelle Ann Go, Rita de Guzman, Frencheska Farr, Sitti, and other local celebs auditioned for Miss Saigon when production came here not so long ago? We totally forgot about it, after not hearing anything about it. But now the Miss Saigon 2014 London cast video has been released and we’re celebrating because Pinoys are part of it!
Kapuso star Rachelle Ann Go may have failed to bag the Kim role, but she won the Gigi role. She shared with Unang Hirit that she may have wanted the Kim role initially but she’s thankful she’s part of the production even as Gigi because she knows the whole experience is priceless – even Lea Salonga and Isay Alvarez, who were part of previous productions of the hit musical, told her exactly that.

Fil-Am Eva Noblezada, 17, is playing the titular character. According to Inquirer, Eva’s dad was born in Guam to Filipino parents. She’s very Pinoy-looking, based on the photo from curtisbrown.co.uk, right?
