Ex-That’s Entertainment main stay and current concert producer Joed Serrano admitted he was shocked at himself with the 8-digit offer he made to Alden Richards for a two-hour concert at the Araneta Coliseum.
Speaking to Rose Garcia of PEP.ph, Serrano said, “Natulala ako ng 30 minutes. Kasi sabi ko, ‘tama ba ang ginawa ko o na-starstruck lang ako?’”
A fan of the immensely popular AlDub love team, Serrano was at Sunday Pinasaya last Sunday, which is where he made the astounding 8-digit offer to Alden’s management. They all thought he was joking, but no.
While he did forget to make the necessary computations — “Parang, ‘uy tama ba yung TF pa lang eight-digit na, wala pa ang production?” Serrano candidly shares — he’s dead serious about it. “Walang atrasan…walang biro.”
Has Alden accepted the offer yet? Well, it’s complicated. The Kapuso heartthrob is insanely busy that his management doesn’t know if they can still accommodate a two-night concert pegged for Feb 13 & 14, 2016.
“Alam ko naman na ambitious ang offer. Good luck dun sa schedule talaga,” he says.
Doing the concert to a later month is an option, Serrano adds, so let’s all just wait and see if this engrandeng concert will pan out.
