Precious Lara Quigaman uploaded a couple of posts last Jan. 17, 2015.
The message of the first one was “Jesus. Salvation comes no other way; no other name has been or will be given to us by which we can be saved… Acts 4:12 (MSG)” and had the caption “Only through Jesus Christ.”
The message of the second one was “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. – Jesus Christ, John 14:6” with the caption “One Way.”
A lot of people criticized her post and her bad timing, since the pope is in the country, but others defended and agreed with her.
The former beauty queen then posted a picture of the word “Respect” explaining that when she posts pictures, it’s not just for her followers but it’s for her to look back to. “”Sure I want to please my followers, but I also post for my own pleasure and more than that I want to please my God.”
She emphasized that she does respect Pope Francis and that what made her sad was that people kept asking her to respect them but that she feels like they didn’t respect her. “You are the ones who are not respecting me and what I believe in.”
