Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero and Heart Evangelista’s wedding is finally taking place this Sunday, Feb. 16, 2015, at Balesin Island Club, and President Benigno Aquino III, Chiz’s best man, won’t be there.
Chiz himself advised PNoy not to attend. Of course it’s not okay that he won’t be there but he still recommended for him not to go and instead be just at the Manila reception, which will be on Feb 18 – if he’s available.
He also clarified that this suggestion has nothing to do with the criticisms faced by the president because of the Philippine national Police’s Special Action Force issue, since Pnoy had been invited as early as last year. “It’s an out-of-town wedding,” said Chiz. “Hassle para sa kanya. He might have things to do.”
