We cheer every time a Pinoy designer gets worn on the red carpet abroad, but we have to admit we’re not totally proud of how the dresses of two designers failed to get in the best dressed list. In fact, they got included in the not-so-good lists.
Fashionista.com just published The Best and Worst Dressed at the 2014 Emmy Awards, and part of “The Bad” list is Mayim Bialik, who was dressed in a blue lacy dress by Oliver Tolentino. Mayim is 38 years old and according to the writer, “This is the dress of a woman twice that age. This is like mother of the bride on steroids.”
On the other hand, Monique Lhuillier made it to The Meh list for her colourful dress for Kaley Cuoco. The writer’s verdict: “This is just a case of too much happening on one dress – the floral, the tiers, the pink and the red… it should have been more focused.”
Whatever! Mabuhay pa din ang Pinoy! Baka di lang carry nila Mayim and Kaley!
