Pinoy dance group wins at 2014 Hip Hop International World Championship

Congrats to A-Team!

The Pinoy dance group won first place at the 2014 Hip Hop International World Championship held on Sunday night in Las Vegas, reports GMA News Online.

It’s not the first time that the Philippines has won in the contest—The Crew (2012), Armistice (2011) and Philippine All Stars (2006, 2008, 2009) have won in the Adult Crew category—but it is the first time that the Philippines won in the Megacrew division.

Interestingly, there were other favourites from the Philippines: the Romancon Dance Company from College of Saint Benilde was well-received by the crowd although they didn’t make it to the podium, while the Canadian group Brotherhood Adult, which won first place in the World Adult Division, are of Filipino descent, according to the report.
