Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach gave us a reason to love her even more!
During her brief stay in Manila, Pia found time to visit the beneficiaries of Smile Train Foundation, a non-government, international organization helping kids living with unrepaired cleft palate.
“As Miss Universe, I look forward to lending my voice and a helping hand to continue to raise awareness for children born with cleft lip and palate in the developing world,” she said.
The Miss Universe Organization and the Smile Train foundation announced their partnership earlier this year.
In the Philippines, Smile Train performs about 6,000 surgeries a year to help children who
have cleft palettes. Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are also known supporters of the Smile Train foundation.
