Did you the watch the first Philippine Presidential Debate?
Well, reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach did, and she thought it was exciting.
Not exactly the word you’d usually associate with presidential debates, but with candidates like Rodrigo Duterte and Miriam Defensor-Santiago, we can’t help but agree.
In a series of tweets on Sunday, the Pinay beauty queen expressed her thoughts on the PiliPinas Debates held at Cagayan de Oro on Feb 21.
She even likened it to the Miss Universe pageant question and answer portion. “I never thought watching the Philippine presidential elections could be so exciting. Parang Q&A lang may time limit pa,” she tweeted.

Pia even reacted when host Mike Enriquez described the “fishbowl” (which used for the question draw lots) as “confidently masikip,” perhaps a reference to the 26-year-old queen’s “confidently beautiful with a heart” answer during the Miss Universe Q&A.
LOL!!!! Ano daw?!? Confidently masikip ??????

However, Pia refused to openly root for or endorse a specific candidate “as not to influence anybody.” “The decision is YOURS. Not mine. And MY decision stays private,” she said.
Wow. Intense. Hahaha I love it. Im a little bummed that I can’t comment much as I have to stay neutral but this is good. Really good!

What I like about most about this debate is that it gets people thinking. Exactly what the people need so they can decide for themselves ??

“I hope this enlightened many of our countrymen,” she ended. We hope so too, Pia.
