On Sunday, Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach watched fellow Filipina Lea Salonga’s return-to-Broadway show, Allegiance.
After the curtains went down, Wurtzbach proceeded backstage where she met with former That’s Entertainment Tuesday cast member Salonga and the rest of the cast.
Niceties were exchanged, photos were taken, and pieces of advice were dished out.
Salonga’s tip to Wurtzbach? Take advantage of everything. “As a new New Yorker, just enjoy everything. There’s museums, there’s theater, there’s eating, there’s all kinds of events that’s only here, so take advantage of everything.”
And a cute aside: At the backstage, Wurtzbach also met Trekker and social media sensation George Takei, with whom she did the Star Trek hand sign and posed for some photos.
