Here’s one good reason to watch a Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) movie.
“The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) disclosed that part of the proceeds of the 39th MMFF will be turned over to help in the rehabilitation of areas devastated Typhoon Yolanda,” reports Anna Liza Villas in the Manila Bulletin.
MMDA chair Francis Tolentino also added that even though the film festival hasn’t commenced yet, they have already set aside the event’s seed money of PHP500,000 to be donated to Yolanda-hit communities.
