Remember when the ABS-CBN soap Pangako Sa’yo got the attention of the MTRCB after they used foul language? In the May 29, 2015 episode, the character played by Pilar Pilapil told her son (played by Ian Veneracion): “Kung pampalipas libog lang yan, that’s okay, go ahead.”
The guys from MTRCB had a mandatory conference with some execs from ABS-CBN yesterday, June 9.
The result?
The station needs to submit to MTRCB a plan with concrete steps on how they can make sure that the use of foul language will be avoided moving forward. The station will also put the Strong Parental Guidance rating as a reminder for viewers, plus the program will be under probation for three months.
