The address is as posh as it gets.
“World boxing champ Manny Pacquiao on Sunday (Monday in Manila) brought his wife Jinkee and their five children, with the family dog Pacman in tow, to their newly purchased home in Beverly Hills,” reports Nimfa U. Rueda in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
The 10,000-square-foot (930-square-meter) mansion was first reported as having belonged to actress Jennifer Lopez — but it was actually owned by Sean “Diddy” Combs back when he was called Puff Daddy and dating JLo.
Pacquiao made the final purchase last week — and he bought it completely furnished. Though the final price of the house hasn’t been disclosed, it was originally listed at $12.5-miillion.
“Sellers Gail and Roger Dauer, who still live in the house, said they made sure they were well-prepared for the Pacquiao family’s visit because they knew Pacquiao needed their seal of approval. In fact, Dauer said he also made sure the bar was well-stocked with orange-flavored Gatorade, Pacquiao’s favorite drink,” notes the PDI report.
Pacquiao aunt, Lilia Lao, was also with the family. She said, “It’s very beautiful, but I’m a little bit worried about the maintenance cost.” The report said that “according to Lao, she was told that the property tax will amount to US$180,000 per year, on top of the cost of maintaining the property, which the seller’s agent Elsa Nelson estimated at US$50,000 annually.”
Here are details of the mansion, as reported by Melissa Allison on Zillow.com:
– The 7-bedroom, 8-bath manse features a grand, two-story entrance with a sweeping staircase and a master suite with his-and-her bathrooms.
– The “her” side boasts a steam shower, spa bathtub and two large, custom walk-in closets.
– A home theater plays in high definition and surround sound, with luxurious seating for more than 20 people.
