The parents of “Pabebe Girls” Michelle Alfonso and Janet Ricabo appeared with their daughters in July 19’s episode of Gandang Gabi Vice.
Michelle’s father, Ohje Tomiyama said he was worried about his daughter getting bullied. Glynis Alfonso, Michelle’s mom even scolded her daughter out of worry. “Napagalitan ko lang kasi nag-ano sa amin yung tiyahin niya. Pinagsabihan kong huwag niya nang uulitin. Kasi ang dami ngang masasakit na salita,” Glynis said.
Janet’s mom, Rosalie Ricabo said her daughter is a good student and is actually shy. “Seryoso naman po sa pag-aaral. Bungisngis po yan, nahihiya lang.”
Gandang Gabi Vice host Vice Ganda urged the girls to let their personalities shine more to avoid harsh criticism over their videos. He even offered to help Janet’s dentist needs. The “Pabebe Girl” video which also included another girl, Vhelpoe Garves, was made just for laughs, but went viral.
