Congratulations, Osang!
Caregiver Rose Fostanes, 47, is the first season winner of X Factor Israel. Her winning piece: the classic Frank Sinatra song for which many a Filipino has been murdered in karaokes: “My Way”.
She wore a loose shimmery grey-black gown and sang with a live orchestra for around three minutes.
“Did you believe you’re gonna make it this far,” the host asked Osang after her peformance. She replied: “No, I really don’t believe that I am here now…I cannot say anything.”

Fostanes has been working for about 20 years across the Middle East and went to work in Israel four years ago, reports ABS-CBNNews.com.
Her sister as well as her long-time romantic partner were flown in by X Factor Israel to watch her at the show’s final night on Wednesday early morning (Manila time).
Fostanes, who was born that way in Taguig, became an OFW at the age of 23, according to a WikiPedia page about her.
Prior to X Factor Israel, in between caregiving, she was performing as the lead vocalist in a band with gigs in Tel Aviv.
She told Reuters, a news wire agency, that she will go back to her work as a caregiver.
