One Direction’s Liam Payne hosted a Facebook live session where he talked about his career and his experiences as a new dad.
A fan from the Philippines asked him what country he wants to visit, and the 23-year-old singer said he wants to come to the Philippines because he has never been here.
Except, he’s been here, right in the country’s capital, to be exact.
Payne actually performed with One Direction in Manila in 2015. We have proof!

Filipinos who were watching Payne’s live session immediately flooded the comments section with reminders of his visit.
Some Directioners were hurt because of Payne’s forgetfulness. Others were more forgiving.
Upon realizing that he made a mistake, Payne issued an apology on Facebook and Twitter.
