Someone had a change of heart!
Vic Sotto is hoping to get a slot in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival even after saying months ago that he may not be able to churn out a movie for the annual movie fest.

According to GMA News Online, the comedian plans to do another installment of his popular Enteng Kabisote film franchise.
To be titled Enteng Kabisote and the Abangers, the movie will be submitted for consideration in the 2016 MMFF, which will run from Dec 25, 2016 to Jan 7, 2017.
Vic said he had second thoughts about submitting an entry in the MMFF, after its executive committee decided that finished films will be submitted as basis for selection instead of just screenplays.

The Eat Bulaga host is a mainstay of the annual film festival; he has had an entry in the MMFF consecutively since 2003.
But he decided to try his luck despite the rule change when the MMFF execom extended its deadline.
This is will be 10th Enteng Kabisote movie in the Metro Manila Film Festival since 1991, if his movie makes it as one of the eight official entries.
It is based on the popular 1990s fantasy sitcom, Okay Ka, Fairy Ko!
“Marami rin ang nagre-request na fans. Miss na raw nila si Enteng. Parang hindi kumpleto ang Pasko kapag wala si Enteng Kabisote. Matagal-tagal na ring hindi napapanood. ‘Yun ang nagtulak sa amin na gawin ang ikasampung episode ni Enteng,” Vic told GMA News Online.
(We’ve received requests from fans who miss Enteng. Christmas is not complete without Enteng Kabisote. It’s been a while since they last saw him.)
Vic did promise that his movie will offer something new. It’s a decades-old film franchise, after all. “Kailangan bago — mula sa hitsura hanggang sa istorya.” (Everything has to be new — from the its looks to its story.)
We’ll be the judge of that.
