If your thoughts are potentially offensive, think twice about posting them on the webz. Whatever goes online can come back and haunt you.

Australia-based Filipina influencer Lily Macapinlac, more popularly known as Lily May Mac, was in hot water after her four-year-old racist tweets surfaced recently.

“If another short old Asian dude tries buying me a drink, I’m going to puke on them,” Macapinlac wrote on Twitter in 2013.

She also announced that she was going to “marry a white boy.”

Who unearthed Macapinlac’s old tweets? No one knows, but her critics sure are definitely loving the controversy. Although the original tweets have been deleted, screenshots are still going around the web.

According to The New York Post, Macapinlac’s mother defended her daughter’s dating preferences.

“She’s pure Pinoy, [but] not really proud ’cause of the mentality of the Pinoy. That’s why we migrated to Australia,” Macapinlac’s mother said.

The 22-year-old model tried to apologize for the incident several times…

…but it looks like the damage has been done.

Nathan Poekert head of content and production at Day One Agency said he was happy to add the influencer to his “blacklist network.”

Macapinlac has 3 million followers on Instagram. In March 2017, she launched a lipstick collection under her name.
